What can the AI check? And what can it not?
You are free to define anything that needs to be checked in contracts as an automated checkpoint. Our AI is continuously learning, so the quality and range of what it can do is always increasing. Automated Checkpoints should, however, not be used to make judgment calls, e.g. “check that this clause is reasonable”. Instead, you can write the specific requirements, which make a clause reasonable or not, and let the AI check those. Before anything will be checked in contracts, you will have the opportunity to test and validate the quality of the results yourself, so you can be confident that the results match your expectations.

How do I tell the AI what to check?
Legartis provides a predefined list of clauses in your playbooks that can be recognised in English and German. For each clause, you can simply add your requirement in natural language, e.g. “Make sure that the prices include taxes”. Our AI will then automatically check this requirement in 10 example clauses, allowing you to validate the results the AI gives and point it toward your specific understanding. Based on just a few examples, the AI will learn to understand your company's requirements and improve its performance over time.
